FAQs

There are a few frequently asked questions when it comes to getting your carpet cleaned, here is a sample of the questions we are regularly asked, we have also included some links to recommendations provided by the The Clean Trust.

How often should I get my carpet professionally steam cleaned?

It is generally recommended that you get your carpet cleaned every 12 months, more often in heavy traffic areas, and for people who suffer allergies, and less often in areas that receive little or no use.

How long does the carpet take to dry?

With Steam Cleaning, carpets will normally be dry in 4 - 6 hours after cleaning depending on a number of factors, including humidity, ventilation and temperature. We will always have your carpet dry within 24hrs and will not clean carpets unless drying conditions allow this - ie under normal circumstances we will not clean your carpet when it is raining. The drying process can require the use of blowers to increase ventilation in some situations. If the client requires the use of the rooms within a shorter time frame, we can dry clean carpets in which case they will be dry within 1 hour. Clients will need to keep in mind that this is only a surface clean.

Am I going to be affected by the chemicals you are going to use?

Some synthetic perfumes can be deleterious to your health, specifically your respiratory system. Our use of non-petroleum based products is a way of avoiding these issues and providing our customers with a healthy alternative, with a pleaseant fragrance.
